  1. No, you're not too old. There were a couple of students in their 50s in my nursing class. You'll do fine. Welcome aboard and Godspeed.
  2. Congratulations and God bless.
  3. Remember something in my marriage vows about "foresaking all others."
  4. Nope. I'd rather be the one calling a doctor at 0300, not the one receiving the call.
  5. Way to go!!! Now, fasten your seat belt!
  6. Wow, it's only your second day of orientation. Relax, give yourself a break. It takes time to learn, that's why your on orientation. Good luck.
  7. I wouldn't quit over this. People, unfortunately, say all kinds of nasty things. Big deal. Some people are jealous and others are just plain catty. It happens everywhere in all professions. Don't lose sleep over it.
  8. May God Bless you and keep you.
  9. Forget about perfection, but strive for excellence.
  10. I wouldn't lose any sleep over that comment. If you want to work CCU, don't let that stop you. If you are as good as you say you'll soon gain the respect of your peers.
  11. Others have given good advice here. I'd say try it and if after a reasonable amount of time (six months) you don't like it, move on. Good luck to you.
  12. I would think the incompetency issues should be reported to your state board of nursing, then I'd seriously pursue a good attorney. Sounds like you got the shaft.
  13. Good luck. Have a Merry Christmas and a good rest. God bless you.
