Shoes...omg my feet are in heaven!!

Published

I am sure there are probably already posts recommending these. But, today I went out and bought myself a pair of Crocs thanks to my hubby who raved how good they were suppose to be. After trying them on he bought a pair also. I wish they would have been available years ago. These have to be the most comfortable shoes that have ever been on my poor tired over worked feet. If you haven't tried these yet do yourself and your feet a favor and go get a pair.

I do have a question though to anyone who has worn these for awhile. How well do they hold up work wise? I know the guy at the place I got them from says they sell alot to nurses and his he says the ones he had on are the only pair of shoes he has worn since buying them and they still looked practically new after 6 months.

Never heard of Crocs before.........what makes them special, and where can you buy them? Also, what did you pay for them?

I switch off between New Balance and Vans, but I'm always open to new shoe ideas because I've got lots of foot troubles, and they hurt after 8 hours of running the floors no matter what I wear. :stone

I paid $29 for mine. They have a website, I think it is Crocs.com, if not, I am sure you can search Crocs and it pull up no problem. They are some sort of super dense foam like material that are anti-microbial (which means no stinky feet syndrome) and they form to the shape of your foot. Also, they weigh next to nothing. Normally I am a die hard Berkenstock fanatic, I probably have 15 pair in my closet half of which has never been worn. I have also worn Dr.Schol's and New Balance. These blow away the comfort of any brand or type of shoes in my opinion. I am definatly sold on the comfort and can't beat the price either. Now they aren't the prettiest of shoes won't be wearing them to any formal events anytime soon. LOL! But I tell you what if they made heels I just might glue on a few sequins and try it out. HAHA!!

(Edit: I forgot to mention that they are slip resistant. I just double checked their web addy and yes it is Crocs.com and I ended up reading their feedback. There were quite a few comments from nurses and other in health care with positive remarks.)

The ones I have now are the traditional looking ones but I am thinking I am going to go by a couple more pair, the solid front and the flip-flops for running around town in. LOL I am starting to feel like an ad for these darn things. They are just so darned comfortable. I am curious how my husband is going to like his. He has alot of problems with his feet and also with his back and knees from an auto accident. He always wears through shoes fast and constantly complains about his feet hurting from his shoes. So I am curious to see how well they hold up and if it actually helps him any.

Thank you........I will definitely check 'em out. I don't care if they're ugly as sin---if they're comfortable and make it possible for me to work a few more years, I'll buy some. :)

Hi,

I´m writing from Germany so sorry for the mistakes...

Does anyone know Masai barefoot technique shoes?

I´ve got them 2 years ago and since the first day I ´m walking on clouds.

20 years of nursing never satisfied with the shoes I tryed Birkenstock made my feet wider ,clogs made them burn, sneakers let them smell... after I started to work in a nursing Home and was respnsibel for 40 Pat. on 5 Floors I sometimes wanted to cry my feet were killing me my back was aching

so a kollege told me about these shoes after my Ortopedist strongly recommended these shoes I whent off to buy them . This was an experience for it self i got the shoes for 3 days to test at home because they make you walk totally diferent. These shoes increase muscle activity &circulation, leads to a relaxed upright poture, relives muscular tension and joint problems and the best is they shape your legs and b... without going to the Gym

nice shoes, but $234 us dollars???? are they less expensive in europe?

I just bought a pair of Aisics for 149 bucks...they are good so far, as I am on my feet 12-14 hours per day when working. I used to LOVE the Reebok DMX10's, but I can't find them anymore.

I think for 29 bucks I can try the crocs!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Crocs! I had foot pain for YEARS and can do a whole 12 hour shift with no pain at all.
