Shoes...omg my feet are in heaven!!

Published

I am sure there are probably already posts recommending these. But, today I went out and bought myself a pair of Crocs thanks to my hubby who raved how good they were suppose to be. After trying them on he bought a pair also. I wish they would have been available years ago. These have to be the most comfortable shoes that have ever been on my poor tired over worked feet. If you haven't tried these yet do yourself and your feet a favor and go get a pair.

I do have a question though to anyone who has worn these for awhile. How well do they hold up work wise? I know the guy at the place I got them from says they sell alot to nurses and his he says the ones he had on are the only pair of shoes he has worn since buying them and they still looked practically new after 6 months.

Cocs would be big nono at my facility. No open shoes.

The highland style looks to be completely closed at the front of the shoe.

My facility gets upset with open backs also. They want the foot covered from just below the ankle.

Oh how I wish those crocs weren't like sandals - I do want a pair of shoes that are comfy - but I kind of draw the line at clogs and holes in shoes in a hospital. Any other great shoes out there that have no holes and that cover the heel?

I had to learn this the hard way first after running in combat boots, second going through the legions of running shoes, then finding a good shoe for the floor.

Does the military really make you run in combat boots? You'd think they would have an investment in the health of their soldiers. Ouch.

I have been wearing then exclusively for 7 months and they are the best ever! I have worn them for 13+ hours and have no tired, achy feet!! :)

Croc doesn't seem to have any that cover the whole foot but, Quarks have a couple of styles that cover the whole foot. If you search for Quark nursing shoes on Google, it pulls up all kinds of places to get them. I've had my Quarks for almost a year now (found them on a clearance rack by accident) and still LOVE them. Hope you find what you need.

I came so close to buying a pair of Crocs last week when I saw them in a shoe store! They look and feel like they would be sooooooo comfortable. The only reason that I did not buy a pair is that they were not available in white and white shoes are a requirement at my school. But, now that I have their website, I'm definitely ordering a pair! Thanks so much!

anyone know of stores that sell these shoes? i'd like to try on a pair to see what makes my feet happy :p

Are you talking about the Crocs? If so, check the website again, as there is a link to stores carrying the shoes. I looked in the two stores near me but had only a very limited selection, so I bit the bullet and paid shipping to order a pair from the website. Can't wait for them to arrive. :)

As much buisness Crocs seems to get from people in the health care field I bet if enough of us start contacting them requesting a "full coverage" shoe that they may consider making one.

Something to think about.

Right, the website lists some stores that carry them if you put in your location. But they're gaining popularity and will probably be at more stores soon. Sole Outdoors is a shoe store (typically found in malls) and when I called, they said they are going to be selling Crocs in the next month. I'm going to go then and try some on, just to be sure I like them and get the right size. I'm sure they won't have the closed-toe white ones, but I know that Sole Outdoors will order for you if they have a contract with the company - which means no shipping for you, if you pick them up at the store. However, you can't return shoes that they don't stock at the store, so be sure before you order.

Thanks for the Link!

I have heard a lot of great things about MBT shoes :balloons: I would love to get a pair! They are expensive 200 - 300 dollars! So I'll wear my $50 New Balance untill I can afford to get a pair. Have a good day :)
