Me too - some of the situations that occurred were more than I could handle. Sadly a lot of the caregivers are poorly trained and severely underpaid. Not that that's an excuse but another example of getting what you pay for...

The workers weren't why I left - It was the shocking lack of response from management to my report with pictures of a person who had been clearly beaten with a belt. When I escalated it by reporting to the police management let suspected staff go "at will" and "lost" their employee file. Since the victim was a non-verbal adult he couldn't tell anyone what happened.
The company tried to buy me off with $10,000.00 "Severance/hush" money. Which I took but donated to charity and am still prepared to testify if the company ever comes up on charges.

Has anyone seen this story before? This apparently happened 6 years ago but the video has been kept away from the public till now. This shows a developmentally delayed man being taunted and BEATEN in a healthcare facility. I am in total shock. Beyond disgusting.
