Sharp New Grad Summer 2020 - August

Hello everyone! Sharp new grad’s application opened on Monday (2/17). I just wanted to make this so we can all keep each other updated. ?

I had applied for spring 2020, got an interview for ICU, but unfortunately did not get hired. So here I am, round 2! ?

Hi! The same thing happened to me for SMH PCU. Have you heard any kind of update? My application still says "under consideration" as well.

Hi guys! I applied for the PCU position at Sharp Memorial Hospital and have not heard back about an interview or anything but my application still says its pending. Have other people heard back about this position yet? Thanks!

I’ve been working there in the RN extender role and everyone is saying the new grad program is frozen until further notice, and the next round is cancelled.

Has anyone receive an update for those who interviewed with Sharp Memorial? The RN Residency Coordinator said we should hear back within 3 weeks. I might be a little antsy from the wait but I would like to see if anyone has heard anything yet since week 3 is coming up...

@GameRN I heard back last week after doing reference checks! ? It seems like they're doing it based off unit though and I was the first day of interviews

Aghhh!! CONGRATS! Do you mind me asking how the interview went? And if you have to do a simulation interview for the ED?

Thank you! It went well the questions were pretty straight forward. What are your goals? experience etc? and It only lasted about 10 minutes (same amount of time as the person before me) I wasn't given any information on whether there would be a sim and no info on when I should hear back. With the the covid stuff going on I was asked to bring nothing with me no portfolio/resume. Good luck to all other applicants!
