I personally received the reference check before my interview, which I thought was a little odd. Anyone else experience this as well?

I got a call 10/5 to come in for interview for 10/14. Then I got request foR references 10/12. My references were done 10/17.  Unfortunately did not hear back from them Friday like I was told. It was odd, and preferred to not give them if it wasn’t job offer. Just because I don’t want inconvenience my references.

@sunflowerRN123 I’m more on the same boat as @vking0020 … Interviewed Mon 10/17, received the reference check email Tue 10/18, & I was told I should hear back by Fri 10/21 but never received THE call? BUT! My references weren’t completed until Fri 10/21 & per Harver, it’ll take 2-3 days for Sharp to review the survey so I’m HOPING that’s why I didn’t receive a call on Fri 10/21 ??

Does anybody know if receiving that reference check email is a good sign that you’re most likely going receive an offer?

Manifesting we all receive great news this week! ?? ??

Yeah I also received the reference check before my interview and then I received an offer before my references had even been completed.

How do you know if your references are complete?

For Harver references?

They will send you an email notification that they have been completed and closed. It may close even if not all of your references completed their part. Mine closed with 3 of 4 completing the reference check, so I'm guessing 3 was good enough for them?

As for your Harver status, you can always login and check the status of your references

I interviewed at CV on 10/13 and received the request for references a few hours before the interview so it seems that receiving the reference request early is not a good indicator of whether or not you will be hired. My references closed on 10/16 and I received the offer on 10/19. Orientation is 11/10. Later that day I received a congratulatory email and request to complete a RN experience form. I do not have any RN work experience so other than my name and other details I submitted my form blank. I was told once the form was received, Sharp would begin the hiring process. I completed and emailed the form back the same day. I have not received further emails and my workday status has not changed yet.

I definitely agree with you on the references portion.

I'm pretty much where you're at in the hiring process. Filled out the form, was explained the same thing, nothing after. Though, I was emailed to put down my references not through Harver, but this time through Workday... seemed odd but did it anyway LOL.

May I ask what salary was offered to you?

I submitted my references on Workday. How can I check to see if they are complete?

I was told all new grads make the same but I am not sure if that is just for CV or all sites. Same rate as others have mentioned.

I just received a call and got an offer for Sharp Grossmont ED. Calls are rolling out guys! ?
