  1. Yes it is very competitive. They do make priority to internal applications ( employees already working with scripps). they still haven't updated my application for OR transition. But I know it's too late for interviews.
  2. I know it is so hard to transition from outpatient to inpatient. maybe next transition program opening I'll try for Chula Vista location.
  3. Congrats those you got interviews . Unfortunately no call from mercy sand Diego , it never got passed from under review.
  4. OR transition (Mercy) application still says under review.
  5. Applied to OR training program. Experienced RN here applied on the July 9 received an invitation for self paced interview on 7/10, . My application got moved to under review like some of you on July 24. Still have not had an update.
  6. New nurse here, have 9 months experience in juvenile detention as RN. I’m currently started working in an urgent care clinic full time to gain more experience. My main goal is to get at least a year of experience and try to transition into the ER, some hospitals in my area do have transition programs like Sharp and Scripps here San Diego. Also, I know usually RN transition jobs is done the other way around. But I wanted to give it a try. And figured I would have more success in being selected to a transition program if I gained at least a year of urgent care. While doing clinicals I really didn’t enjoy the inpatient setting, which is why I’d didn’t apply to hospitals and instead went to outpatient setting route. However, I really want try this challenge myself and in areas I don’t feel comfortable. 1) I really want to give inpatient a try. (to figure if it’s for me or not) 2) ER was biggest fear, because of the chaos and fast pace. (Unfortunately never gained experienced in clinicals) I guess my question is has anyone ever successfully transitioned from outpatient to inpatient? Any tips?
  7. I got a call 10/5 to come in for interview for 10/14. Then I got request foR references 10/12. My references were done 10/17. Unfortunately did not hear back from them Friday like I was told. It was odd, and preferred to not give them if it wasn’t job offer. Just because I don’t want inconvenience my references.
  8. Those whom got an offer from CV do mind telling me what unit?
  9. I had interview Friday. They said I would hear by the end this week so IDK at this point. I know my reference page was closed.
  10. Also got call for interview next week at Chula Vista location.
  11. I haven’t received email. but my application did update 10/4 that is in consideration after an initial review. the previous update was from is in consideration after an initial review on 09/20/2022
