Hi all! I am starting this thread for those who have applied/are going to apply for the Sharp New Grad RN residency for Winter 2022-2023!

I hope so too! Stay positive. And I am, from north county though so still a bit of a drive but nothing too crazy.

Congratulations to those who received an offer! ?

Anybody else received anything from Grossmont today (not just ED)?

Grossmont’s cohort starts Jan 2023 so I’m hoping that’s why it’s taking some time, but really praying I hear back this week! ?? 

Also, I’m an internal applicant & my status is still Under Consideration on Workday after interview. Did anybody’s status change at all?

I applied to Woman's Observation Unit at Grossmont and I just now got a call back last night.

Hi everyone! Just wanted to send an update. I applied to Sharp Grossmont ED and received a call to interview on 10/13. I interviewed on 10/21 and received an email for reference checks at about noon on 10/24 and received a call with a job offer at 5 the same day. Not all of my references were complete. I also applied internally because I currently work for Sharp.

Got an offer from Chula Vista today!! Interviewed on 10/24, so they may still be calling for offers :)

Congratulations to everyone who got the call! I also received an offer call yesterday from Grossmont!

I was asked to complete an RN experience history after the call. Did any of you (from Grossmont) also have to complete this?

Has anyone heard anything from the Sharp Grossmont nursing recruiter?

I interviewed for Grossmont ER on 10/21 as well but never received reference check emails either before or after interview. I did email HR regarding that and was told because I’m an internal candidate that they did a HR file review instead. I have sent a follow up email with no response and I have yet to receive an offer. 

 

I hope I hear something ER is my dream job.
