Hi all! I am starting this thread for those who have applied/are going to apply for the Sharp New Grad RN residency for Winter 2022-2023! 

 

Those of you attending the Welcome Meeting at Sharp Chula Vista this week how do you plan to dress and what do you plan to bring?

I am not attending (did not apply), but I did an externship at Chula Vista this past Summer. I sat in on one of the orientations they had and people dressed buisiness casual. They looked nice, but no one was in like full blazers or anything

I submitted my RN experience form last week, but I haven’t heard anything back. Has anyone been reached out to?

I have only received the RN experience form. I do remember ------------------- saying to expect the offer letter in two weeks, so I am assuming Monday. I plan to reach back out to him if I haven't head anything by then.

That happened to me a few weeks ago. I asked about it to the generic jobs@sharp email since I wanted to be respectful of my references' time and not inconvenience them. It turned out to be a mistake, they told me to disregard it. I originally submitted references thru Workday, and the 2nd time it was requested thru Harver, not sure if yours is the same.

Those of you at Chula Vista for the New Grad RN program. What time do "Class Days" start? Same place as our welcome meeting tomorrow, but I may have missed it if they went over the class start time. Thanks!

Hi there,

Last we were told was 8:30am during my welcome meeting. I was hoping we’d get an email stating when it would end and what to bring with us but I haven’t received anything. I think we will get more info tomorrow about how our future classes will look like.
