  1. Thank you! Yes, we went over it with a phone call on Friday. It was all quite quick with the decisions and phone call. I start in January because I already have my license. Is there something specific you were wondering? Like others have said, sometimes their emails do go to the spam folder.
  2. I heard back and was accepted on one of their med/surg units! I did do my residency on the unit, so I know the unit and nurses pretty well though and had my preceptor write my LOR.
  3. I am not attending (did not apply), but I did an externship at Chula Vista this past Summer. I sat in on one of the orientations they had and people dressed buisiness casual. They looked nice, but no one was in like full blazers or anything
  4. I am a bit worried because I did not get the email about references, but I had submitted recommendation letters prior to the interview. Hopefully we get some good news
  5. Has anyone heard anything for Mary Birch L&D?
  6. Were you asked clinical questions or more behavioral? I have my interview tomorrow!
  7. Thank you! I applied at Mary Birch in L&D
  8. @emily234: Thank you! It is for next Friday, 10/14 @futurenp0096: Mine still says under consideration in green with no additional application or anything She did say that they were reaching out to a few more people when I spoke on the phone with her. Best of luck everyone!
  9. It sounds like they are calling or emailing today! I got an email (they couldn't find my number right away) to set up an interview!
  10. Did you guys submit letters of rec with your applications? I thought it said not to, but something else, not on the application page, said that we could if we would like. I have them, but I was holding off submitting them.
  11. I got one and I got an email today saying my application was forwarded to the hiring managers, so I am hoping!
  12. Hey CaliforniaNurse1! I did my fetal monitoring through Relias. You probably have to search on Google for their course. My previous nurse said that a lot of people use it, so it is what I used. It is certified by AWHONN. Relias
  13. I applied to both the Maternal Child Health Program and the New Grad program. I have not heard anything yet. People are saying that they have something on the recent activity tab. I do not have anything there or on the application tab. My application tab actually says no applications submitted. Not sure why. Does anyone else have this issue?
  14. Hey CaliforniaNurse1! I also got that email. I had an externship with Sharp Chula Vista over the Summer and had discussed this course with my preceptor (CNS researcher/educator not L&D). The UCSD course fills up very quickly, but I will share the link for the AWHONN course. This is the course her friend/coworker, an OB CNS at Sharp Chula Vista, showed me. Hope this helps! AWHONN POEP Course
  15. @SamuelsDavidson Sorry for the super late reply to your post. I am currently in a Zoom call for the open house for Azusa at my location, San Diego. I never went to an orientation and wanted more info. I found out that the pre-licensure is 18 months and at the end, you get a BSN, can sit for the NCLEX, and work as an RN. Then you do the post-licensure where you finish with your MSN in about 2 years. I had been curious about this as well because other ELM/MEPN programs are only MSN. They said they do this so you actually get two degrees, a BS and an MS, can work right away, and so that there is no question when it comes to your degrees. This way takes a bit longer, but I think that it is pretty cool as I have heard that some hospitals question just the MSN from these programs. Hope this helps ?
