Hey, all! Since lots of us seem to be writing about finals, why don't we just use one post?
Everyone could just vent their grades and how they feel now and how many fellow students we lost.
I'll start!
I am usually a 4.0 student, but Maternity has kicked my butt! I managed to come out with an 82%. YUCK! But acceptable at this point! We lost 2 students out of 17!! That hurts us all! We feel like a family member died! Does anyone else feel that way when someone fails??
My final is tonight. 5:00pm to be exact. We'll find out tonight our score so I will know tonight if I can continue on. It has been such a rough semester that I am just glad it's almost over.
I am so anxious to get this over with! I keep thinking, "did I study enough?", but then I think that if I don't know it now I will not learn it in 4 hours!!
Woo! I just finished my last final this morning! So now my semester from hell is over! I had five finals to get through and I made it through 'em all. Passed my lab practical with flying colors..though that might be the only one. Had pharm and patho both yesterday and wow did patho kick me in the behind. But it no longer matters because it's over!
Does anyone else have an instructor who counted their answer completely wrong (as in zero points) for capitalizing glossopharyngeal nerve (which was the right answer and spelled correctly) and then she herself misspelled the vagus nerve as "vegas" in another area of the test %#@##**@*!@#!@#!@???
That's too funny! I had an exam that was 46 questions so when I got my exam back I was astonished to find that I had missed questions 47,48,49, & 50. Go figure.
Thank God it is over! :) I have ridden right around 90% on each test until this last one. It was a cumulative with more emphasis on the last chapters of the term r/t sleep, communication, death, dying &grief, electrolytes, and infusion therapy.
Well, its a good thing I remembered the cumulative stuff and the infusion therapy 'cause I bombed the second half of the test on, communication, death, dying &grief. I think I was focusing so much on the "science" > of electrolytes and infusion therapy that I forgot about the other stuff. OOPS.
I'll end up with a B, but that was not what I had in mind for finishing out the term.
The psychology, communication, death/dying stuff just seems so whishy-washy that it makes it hard to study for. Does anyone else feel that way?
I have a H & P write-up due Friday. Last Phsyiology exam Tues evening and my last Pharm test on Wed. And then it's off to see The Two Towers that night!
My final is tomorrow! I'm sick just thinking about it. I can get a 60% on it & still get a B in the class. Of course, I will try to get more than a 60! :)
Does anyone else feel that way when someone fails??
