Hey everyone. With so many programs sending acceptance letters I am checking to see if anyone has heard from SFSU?

Rebbles: thanks for all the info, but when i emailed the lady at the nursing dept she told me there is no winter and summer just fall and spring

Right, for the nursing program there is no summer, I was clarifying that for the University, winter session does not exist at all.

yes, you are correct are you a nursing student planning to go to sfsu too?

Congrats to all those that got in to the SFSU Nursing Program 2010 (BSN and GMSN). I am a level 2 nursing SFSU GMSN Nursing Student. Contact me if you have any questions at [email protected].

Thanks!

Yes, I got accepted for Fall 2010.

My case is different from yours. I applied for BSN Program for Fall 2010 but received a conditional admission with a Major : Biology ( Physiology) for Fall 2010. What does this mean? Any thoughts? or feedback? Do you think its wise to just start with a non Nursing major at SFSU then just try to apply again before Nov. 30 for next year program? Any advantage of doing this? I'm 43 years old, or should I go on and apply to other private Nursing school.

Yes, I got accepted for Fall 2010.

Hey! We will be classmates! I will be attending the orientation on July 10th for transfer orientation and I received another email from the Nursing department that they are hosting a separate orientation on July 28th from 9 - 5pm for their nursing students.

@nursingtobe - thank you for your information about what to expect! It was very much appreciated and helpful.

Yes we will! I am going to the orientation on July 16th and then of course the nursing orientation.

any of you guys know about registering for classes during the transfer orientation date? The email from SFSU Nursing states that we should register for nursing classes during the nursing orientation, but I was wondering if anyone has ever thought about registering during the transfer orientation?

Just curious...

Hi everyone!!

Congrats SFSUMel!

I am in need of some advice. I was accepted to SFSU's nursing program and was set on attending it. That all changed this morning when I learned I was accepted into Samuel Merritt's BSN program for this fall. There are numerous pros and cons, but I just want to choose the BEST school that will make me the BEST nurse. Does anyone have any advice? I have about a week to decide. .. .

Thank you!

Hey SFSUMegs. Congrats on getting in there. When does the other program let you start fall 2010? SFSU is a pretty good school and well known as well. I hear lots of great things about it and it is 5 semester long which is a plus! How long is the other school's program?

Samuel Merrit I would start this fall and it's four semesters. SFSU I am a spring 2011 start so I would be done an entire year later. All I care about is the program and coming out a great nurse. I feel SO very fortunate to have this decision, but that doesn't make it any easier.
