Has anyone on here applied to this program?
Not sure if anyone's touched upon the topic, but I was told by the School of Nursing that those who were admitted to SFSU have until May 15 to accept/decline the offer. Is this correct?
If so, then we have until May 15 to find out our true position on the waitlist. Meaning we don't have to wait until July 31st.
I think I was told June 1st. But that was by the same person who gave me an incorrect position on the waitlist so I don't know if I believe her lol.
@fancyeyes yeah I applied there for summer and was rejected. I'll probably reapply for spring. I just signed up for a 200 hour emt course this summer so hopefully that'll help my application

yeah i got rejected there too. I'm just going to do the BSN first. I figure my end goal is a NP so BSN -> NP might make more sense than a CNL trying to find a post-masters program.
Yeah I'm gonna apply for bsn programs too. I need to cast a wider net. I'm also gonna take nutrition at a cc this summer, the last time I took it was my first quarter at ucsb and I got a c+ cuz I was a silly freshman so that really brought down my pre req GPA for usf (and I'm gonna apply to sac state and it's a pre req there too). This whole thing is definitely a learning experience.
Also the benefit of bsn first is twofold: you can get experience as an rn first and there are more masters programs open to you down the road.
That being said, if by some miracle I were accepted off the waitlist at sf state I would accept the spot haha

FYI, the CSUs won't let you repeat a class unless you got a D or F, so they will still take the C+

Sorry to hear that, futurenurseshelly. If there's no rejection letter, there's still hope. We have until July 31st.
