That's actually worst haha like to retake a D it has to be at the same institution. You can't retake a C- or better. Period.

Actually I guess it depends on the institution because I got a c- once (rough quarter) and I was able to retake it for an a and the c- was erased from my GPA.

According to the Sac State nursing pre-req page:

If a prerequisite or corequisite course has been taken more than once, the highest grade will be included in the Nursing GPA calculation used to rank candidates

It doesn't mention needing to have a grade of C- or lower to retake the course, but I'll ask about that at the info session. I'm hoping I can take it at a cc or else I have virtually no chance of getting in unless I get 100% on the TEAS haha.

Um, I have done a lot of research and they do accept second bachelors.

"Second Bachelors - Good news! University admission is closed to Second Bachelors for the Spring 2015 term, but there is an exception for Nursing. Do NOT apply to the University - submit Spring 2015 Supplemental Nursing Application to the School of Nursing only."

Yeah it wasn't on mine either. I kinda wish I had applied earlier. Oh well. You still have a good chance of getting in to sfsu though :)

Ah maybe that's a new thing, I think it was closed for Fall 2014. Anyways I'll be starting at SJSU in the fall. Good luck!

Still no news here. I've kind of given up on SF State, but I am curious because I still have never gotten an email from them about being on the waitlist or anything. I might call them tomorrow just to see what's up. Any news from anyone else?

Same as futurenurseshelly, I haven't received any word. Fortunately I'm in the process of starting at another school (at CSULA, starting next month) but I just want this one loose end figured out. I've never been able to get anyone from School of Nursing on the phone, but did talk to someone at Graduate Admissions today. He gave me the stats of 123 applicants, 19 admitted, 31 rejected, and 52 waiting approval. Since registration starts in June, his assumption was that they would finalize by then.
