  1. Hello, jugglegolfer. I just have a question about the acceptance so I sent you a direct message. :)
  2. Hello misstaceyv, i'm still waiting to hear from the other schools but once i find out im going to smc for sure, i am definitely interested in carpooling.
  3. Any of you guys doing the dual enrollment program at csu dominguez hills?
  4. Looks like there already is a nursing group on facebook. "SFSU Nursing - Class of 2018" As ELMSN students, we fit in this category, right?
  5. Good luck, Macaroni84!
  6. Good point, @leeezy. I read the e-mail as there will be an orientation in June, but it could be even later. We should definitely make a Facebook group! I just haven't gotten around to it. Hopefully some time next month (pretty busy wrapping things up at work to get ready for the coming school year!).
  7. Congratulations, @leeezy! I'll see you hopefully during June orientation!
  8. I'm not sure if it's the same for the ELMSN students, but when I responded to the informal admission, I did not receive any confirmation e-mail. To be sure, though, I made sure I responded to the university formal admission! Hope it helps.
  9. Hey @Macaroni84, I believe the May 15th date is the absolute cut off date for people to accept/decline. Last year, the cut off date was July 31st. So even though admission offers were sent in April, I was slowly moving up my waitlist by end of June. At least the SoN gave an earlier cut off date than last year. Good luck!
  10. That's a very good position to be in, Macaroni84! Hopefully you hear back from the School of Nursing with good news! As per the facebook group, I was not aware of one that was started. If one isn't created by the summer, then I might as well start it!
  11. @kimicoso I'm in the Community/Public Health specialty. I understand the anxiety! Although the anticipation must be high, so at some point, you'll end up calling the SON. Hopefully your waitlist number isn't high, and hopefully you hear from them soon!
  12. Each specialty has its own waitlist. It isn't even, because I remember last year one specialty had a waitlist of 8 people, while another waitlist had 5. As for #2 position @leeezy, that's a good position to be in! Good luck!
  13. Thanks, @Macaroni84! I was given 2 weeks to respond to the acceptance. As for those of you who were waitlisted, don't lose hope! I found out I was on the waitlist last year, in the number 3 position. It was nerve-wracking; from April to July, I was constantly checking my e-mail, hoping I would be out of the waitlist and accepted. As the months rolled by, I eventually was number 1 on the list, and was on the edge of my seat the remainder of the time! Unfortunately, no more spaces opened up, and I had to reapply this year. Although I wasn't admitted last year, there's still hope for those of you on the waitlist this year. It's a grueling process, but you can always vent your frustrations and angst on this thread!
  14. Thank you for the congratulations! I already accepted the offer. They will send an e-mail informing you the Graduate Division will send you a formal offer. From there, you go to SFSU Gateway to accept.
  15. Hi all, Check your emails; I was offered admission to the ELMSN at SFSU! I hope you all received good news as well!
