Congrats v4endetta!! Hi jll99 and thanks you :). I applied for the GMSN-Womens Health emphasis. @v4endetta, both graduate admissions and SON told me the same thing. I accepted my offer!!!

Congrats to those who have been accepted! That's so exciting! Still no update for me. I wonder when they will start sending out e-mails about waitlist and rejections. I saw someone said late April/early May but to me that could still be any day now haha.

@Nicamama: I applied to the women's health GMSN as well. I wonder how many they are accepting to each track.

@futurenurseshelly no update here either =( My portal has never worked though, so I checked with SFSU grad admissions. They said my app is still being reviewed. I called SFSU Nursing and they said some acceptances have gone out, but they're still reviewing some. I applied to the Community/Public Health specialty, and I'm not sure if this will affect when we'll find out. I'm guessing it shouldn't, since there are only 20 seats! But who knows. Good luck, I hope you get in!

I, too, applied to the Community/Public Health emphasis. I haven't received word, yet. My guess is the School of Nursing already sent all admission letters. We just have to wait for the waitlist and the official e-mail...

Don't worry, admission stuff hasn't even gone out yet! The post-master program is no way related to ours.

People from our program have been admitted (Max79 and Nicamama). However, I'm not giving up hope yet since jll89 said they are still reviewing applications.

Well they actually called and asked, im saying no email/letters have gone out yet. Also, I don't think they're supposed to tell you over the phone, so they may have gotten lucky that they got someone nice on the phone haha.

Actually @fancyeyes we were notified via SF Gateway. We just followed up to verify.

I don't get how you were notified, you happened to login when there was a checkmark and it went back to a dot? So I'm not sure you were even supposed to see that?

@fancyeyes:

1. Login to SF State Gateway; Application Status

2. See a green checkmark that says Accepted; Click Accept/Decline Admission (*Note saying once you accept or decline you will no longer see this screen)

3. Following day, receive an e-mail: "Thank you for accepting your offer of admission for the Fall 2014 semester. We have generated your official SF State student email account. During your time as a student at SF State we will use this email address to communicate important information and deadlines to you. Please make a note of your account name and address."

4. Now Application has gone back to complete

5. Admission confirmed via Graduate School & SON.

If you need further clarification, I'd advise you make a call to the SON or Graduate Admissions.
