Has anyone on here applied to this program?
I completely agree @Nicamama that we can't be the only ones notified but given that the cohort is only 20 people, it is entirely possible that we're the only ones communicating on all nurses. We had our acceptance verified so I don't think there's a need to worry. I did reach out to someone in admissions at the SON & he shared that those that accept an offer of admission would be receiving info from the SON the week of 5/5. What info did the SON give you?
I still haven't received anything. No change in my application status :/
@jll89 yes I received that email a long time ago, I did not receive it again today. That's so weird.
This waiting is driving me crazy. I had a dream that I was on the waitlist and to determine who got in from there we all had to sing. Apparently it was a nursing/singing school, hahah.
Hi All,
Just wanted to offer my input. Have been watching the board since applying the the GMSN program (CNS emphasis). After reading the postings from Tuesday I checked my portal and found that lovely green check mark! At first I didn't believe it could be, so I called the SON and asked what was up with that little check mark on my app status page...Turns out I WAS ACCEPTED!
Following day received the "official email account creation" notification from the university, but still nothing "official" from the department as of yet...

Hi, everyone. A huge congratulations to all those who are already admitted! I'm really confused by my status on SFSU Gateway. Because I've only checked once (in early February) I don't know if the green "admitted" check mark has always been there (and means that you are "admitted" to the Graduate School, but not necessarily the SON). Can someone tell me if that's what this means? From what I'm reading in your earlier posts, the green "admitted" check mark is a new icon, however I don't see an option to "accept or decline" when I log on. I will check with the SON, but maybe someone here knows the answer. Thanks in advance!
