SFSU GMSN Fall 2014

U.S.A. California

Has anyone on here applied to this program?

Now it's back to the green dot!

Congrats to you all who got in! By the looks of it, maybe those who were admitted were notified already.

Good job to all of you!

not to crush anyones hopes, but I think that means you were accepted to the university SFSU, not actually the nursing program. I applied to a couple other CSUs and they give you 2 acceptances, first to the university, then to the nursing program...you could be rejected for either.

@v4endetta I was thinking Pharrell's "Happy" song would be just as suitable!

@fancyeyes, I think the school of nursing accepts the students first, and then relays that to the graduate department for acceptance to the university. That's how it was for the Biology Department when I accepted my admission offer at SFSU in 2012.

At any rate, congrats to those who were accepted! I'm sure you'll all prove to be fine nurses/FNPs!

I called both Graduate Admissions and SON and it was confirmed, I'm in!!! Still haven't recieved an email from SON but it should be coming soon. Can't believe it, I am in total shock!

Good to know! My friend who is in the MSN-FNP program now told me that last year her admission offer didn't display in the Gateway portal until June. I just left a message at the SON, just seeking for confirmation too because it switched back to a green dot too.

Thanks for the clarification master641215!

Hi Nicamama, who did you spoke to at the SON?

I called both Graduate Admissions and SON and it was confirmed, I'm in!!! Still haven't recieved an email from SON but it should be coming soon. Can't believe it, I am in total shock!

Congrats @nicamama! Which program did you apply to, the GMSN or post-master's certificate?

Hi nicamama! Congrats to you too! I applied to the post-master FNP. How about you? I received a replied from the SON via email stating that if you were offer an admission through the SFSU Gateway then you are accepted to the SON. It still didn't explain why I still have a green dot. Did you ask the Graduate Admissions to confirm your acceptance into the program?
