Has anyone on here applied to this program?

got financial aid to work! It works on Firefox, not Chrome! Also, I was surprised they gave me a small grant--win! Too bad the loan is unsubsidized...wonder what the interest rate will be next year for federal loans.

@max79 thanks for all of your input! All of what you said has made it even harder to make a decision though haha. Now I really feel stuck! Being a CNS for my community (I applied to that specialty) would be amazing. I think ideally that would be the best path for me, just looking at my interests from volunteering. I also asked my mom, who has been a nurse for over 30 years, about the CNL role. She described it more as a futuristic concept that probably won't be around for a while, especially when we graduate. So that seems to match up with the nurse you communicated with also. Argh! Well I guess I should only be torn if I get in to SFSU. So will you go to USF if you aren't admitted to SFSU?

I got waitlisted at USF also now. Not sure how good my chances are since they don't rank me. But they also don't tell me until May 1 which really last minute, considering classes start May 19. Eek!

For those that applied to UCLA, if you're cool with moving to SoCal, I've heard Asuza is easy to get into and leads to a NP.

It is cool that USF is only 2 years, I probably would have gone there if i hadn't gotten rejected.

How did they let you know? Did they send you an e-mail, and did your status on SFSU Gateway change to "Admitted"?

Hi master641215! I log in to the student portal in SFSU, check my status, and next to the complete application green dot it gave me a choice to accept or decline acceptance. I accept the admission offer and then it said thank you for submitting acceptance.

@v4endetta thank you! That happened to me last night too!! I was so excited. Then, I refreshed and it went back to the green circle or "complete." I called the Graduate Office today & they said that they just switched to a new system and it has some kinks in it but that it should be updated in 24 hours. Then, today I also received an e-mail thanking me for accepting admission & giving me my e-mail address soooo I think I'm in? I also called the SON and they said that they're not e-mailing info out until the end of this month/early May but if you're accepted on Gateway that you are accepted. So, I've been waiting until the 24-hr mark to log in again. Did this happen to anyone else?

The same thing happened to me too!! Except on my application it had a green admitted check mark, I accepted. Does this really mean I'm in?????????

Congrats max79 for getting into SFSU also! You are so IN max79! Yes, it happen to me too! After I click the accept choice, I refresh it and still there is a green dot too. Good to know I'm not the only one. I will probably get the email tomorrow.
