September 2008 support group!

Hi everyone..

I just scheduled my exam awhile ago and finally taking it this September 15, 2008.

I was looking for the September 2008 Support Group and found their is none in existence so i figured to start one.

I am currently on Saunder's 4th Ed. and some other references like, Exam Cram, Illustrated Study Guide for the NCLEX-RN Exam, Prioritization, Delegation Assignment by Linda LaCharity and other Q and A books by Saunder's and Mosby.

But i am focusing more on Saunder's, i just like to have other references to understand topics which i am weak in.

I wasn't a very good student before or wasn't that much focus with my studies while in school. That's why i am very anxious now with my upcoming exam.

Now I am giving my best in my review and hoping and praying that i may pass it on the first try.

I really want and dreampt of becoming an RN and finally i am a test closer to becoming one.

what books did you study?

cant review anymore.. i feel like my head is going to explode! only 3 days left for me..

i studied Saunders and La Charity... i have other books but didnt bother to look at them anymore because i find saunders better but lacks in prioritization, delagation.. that's why i purchase LaCharity.

i really pray that ill pass this exam!!

Well I'm pleased to say that so far all of my classmates that have taken boards (which is just a handful) have passed. This gives me courage.

MOCHAFRAP I USED my philippine board Med-surg reviewers/notes, SAUNDERS 3rd ed Q and A book, kaplan strategies 2007-2008 book, mosby review questions book, Feuer audio mp3-30 hours, Excel audio MP3-30 hours, AllNURSES.COM random facts, kaplan cd trainer 1-7 (BTW I finished 1-3 already, i scored 60-63-64, is that okay?),saunders cd, NCSBN lecture download, delmar learning downloads, my mosby PDQ booklet and WIKIPEDIA! yes, WIKIPEDIA! ahhaha.........but after using all of these things... I STILL FEEL ITS NOT ENOUGH....IM SOOO DOWN!!!!!!! I self reviewed that is why I fell so vulnerable.Uggghhhhhh. My brain is swollen already!!!!!!! steroids please! 2 weeks to go! GOODLUCK TO YOU MOCHA! I'LL PRAY TONIGHT FOR YOUR SUCCESS! YOU CAN MAKE IT! WE ALL CAN MAKE IT!!!

i know you're stress because the way you typed.. hehehe! im stress too but i guess i can't do anything at this point. i dont want to study anymore because i think ill be more stress when i do. 3 days more for me.

i am just concentrating on infection control. they say its the trend now..
