Hello AZWildcatRN,Please remember "What meant to be , meant to be" and "everything will work out the way it should be" !! Maybe CHLA is not a good place for you BUT God has better plan for you, He has a much better place for you to be. I truly believe in that and I know someday you will look back and will be glad not to work at CHLA because by then you will be working at MUCH MUCH better place.
Please keep in touch ! God bless you my friend.
I totally agree with you! Thanks for your kind words. I know God has a plan for me and ill just have to sit tight and see where God leads me.
I am very encouraged by the last few posts in this thread and it's true, whatever doesn't work out now is all for the better of the future. God is leading everyone to where he sees fit.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." -Jeremiah 29:11

Hi everyone,
I'm sorry to those who did not get the interview. I did get the call and will be interviewing for the ED. I was wondering if anybody else will interview for the same dept. Good luck to everyone and I hope that all of us can find something.

I put down the ED as my first choice when I applied. However, the nursing recruiter did not say anything about which department I was being considered for when she called for the interview. How did you learn which department/unit you are interviewing for?
I applied in the first hour, delivered my packet on the 6th. I did not have a BSN but another bachelor's degree (which was in their criteria), anyway got my rejection email. The irony? That same day I was offered a position in the NICU at UCLA! I graduated last June, have had my license since August, and have applied to numerous programs in and around LA, got some interviews, then rejections...a long tough journey..all i can say is just don't give up, keep going at it, it will eventually happen (it may just take a little longer than we all anticipated)
Good luck to all of you that have gotten an interview!!!!!!!!

Congratulations on your job at UCLA!! Did you do anything in the last year to make your resume more appealing to UCLA? I would appreciate any advice. I am just starting my job search but am already anticipating a long hunt. Thanks!
