Ive got the packet and ill mail my documents tomorrow, how about you guys?...

Wow... I actually have an interview next week! I am preparing myself for standard interview questions. Should I expect any nursing scenario questions? Any advice or examples you can offer?

CHLA told me that we will know our status by next Friday May 20,2011, either you will get a phone call, email, or a letter. i am kind of discouraged because it seems like a lot of people already got called in for an interview. I just wished I knew what exactly it takes to be granted and interview.

I just received the rejection email. It stated that there was an overwhelming number of applicants and that I was not selected to interview. Its ok though, I know that there will be other opportunities. Good luck to everyone else who applied.

Kemsil, thanks for the info! I really wish I knew too. I wonder if it had as much to do with unit selection as our packet....

Hello AZWildcatRN,

Please remember "What meant to be , meant to be" and "everything will work out the way it should be" !! Maybe CHLA is not a good place for you BUT God has better plan for you, He has a much better place for you to be. I truly believe in that and I know someday you will look back and will be glad not to work at CHLA because by then you will be working at MUCH MUCH better place.

I understand how you feel because I was kinda discouraged too before, but as long as they haven't said "No" to you, that means you are still good ! Being discouraged doesn't help us so let's pick ourselves up, pray, hope and don't worry for God knows where He is leading us ! Not only He knows where to lead us, He also knows how to get us there !! Believe me on this one.

Hi everyone,

I'm sorry to those who did not get the interview. I did get the call and will be interviewing for the ED. I was wondering if anybody else will interview for the same dept. Good luck to everyone and I hope that all of us can find something.

Is everyone's interview with HR or do some of you have interviews straight with the unit managers? I got a call too but I don't think mine is with HR...?? I wonder if there's a mistake

Dont feel bad...I am one of the many who didnt even get a call. I dont understand, high GPA, BSN, I even work in Peds homecare right now....not like I am a weak applicant.

Thanks SunSurfRN! :) I know.. same here, had my internship in peds, BSN and good GPA too. Maybe chla is not for us..
