Wow.....Allie, that is superb !! You will be working at a magnet hospital. I received a call this early morning from CHLA for the interview and of course you are so way....ahead of me, you've got a job and for me is just a preliminary (pre-screening) interview.

So...you belong to California after all ! Congrats again.:yeah:

CHLA stands for Children's Hospital of Los Angeles. Congrats on passing, but the application period for the hospital has closed. I believe they are now in the process of selecting applicants to be interviewed. You may be able to call HR and see when their next new grad program will be. Good Luck in your search.

I interviewed at chla April 14 cuz I was already going to be in LA interviewing at ucla. So I did the preliminary interview before a lot of ppl cuz I called and asked if I could. I got a rejection email from chla a week later lol

I received a call for a preliminary interview at CHLA and I am hoping you can provide me with some info on what to expect. Did you meet with just one recruiter and discuss yourself and why you would like to work at CHLA? How long did the meeting last? Any information is greatly appreciated :)

Thanks! yes i met with one recruiter. the meeting was probably 30 mins long.

Questions were so standard! like.. tell me about yourself, why chla, are you okay with the two year commitment and why, when have you dealt with a difficult family member, why do u want to work with kids, why your unit of choice..and like 2 other forms of tell me about yourself. i didnt know what to say by the end. i said i liked to cook. lol!
