i wanted to see when people applied to the program and if they have heard anything at all.

i applied oct. 2nd and no info yet!

Applied in August, and still have not heard a word! I call like once a week and no one knows anything. They just keep saying they are looking at the applications and are backed up...

hey parris,

looks like only we applied! we should be admitted for sure...jk. i just called and they said that as soon as they look at the application they will let me know, even if i get put on a waitlist. so i really don't understand how they could not have reached people who applied in august yet!

Seems crazy that they have not sent out letters. When I talked to them about a week ago they said they had not told anyone anything...hope to know soon so I can get on with it.

In 2006, I had heard by Christmas. Strange that it's taking so long, but when I graduated, they had cut the position that was the Second Career program liason and I also heard that they were establishing a waitlist, in addition to supposedly starting rolling admissions. I wish you the best of luck, and if you don't get in this time, try again next year. Took me two tries.

Hey,

No I have not heard a word. I am not sure what is going on. Last time I talked to them they said they have not told anyone yet...

I did get into MSU and I could start there in May and would not have to take biochem...

I will let forum know when I hear something.

Where did you guys take your prereq's? And how many people does UofM Nursing allow in each semester?

I did mine at Michigan State, they are similar to the ones I needed for States Program that I was trying to get into. UofM's web page will let you know all of the courses you need.

Talked with someone from UofM and they told me that they have been meeting and letting people know...

Hello, I applied in Aug 2008, my application was complete Oct. 2008, but still have not heard from them. Did anyone else receive an answer from the SON?

I am in the same boat. My application was complete in the end of August and have not heard anything. A few weeks ago I got an e-mail from them saying they should let me know in the next several weeks...

It is really crazy they are not letting people know yet!
