Hi everyone, it might be a little early but I wanted to start a forum for SU's 2021 BSN applicants! I'm applying as a transfer student from a community college in California. I'm curious about everyone else's experience as a pre-nursing student and the schools they plan on applying to.
I've yet to complete my organic Chemistry course (my school doesn't offer one course with both organic and inorganic) and my pre-calculus course to satisfy the prerequisites. Right now I'm trying to find volunteer work, but with the pandemic, there's not much out there.
Feel free to share anything, I'm super curious about everyone's stats!

I had my interview today and it was a very good experience. Just be sure to smile, breathe, and be yourself. you will do great!
Good luck everyone! Now it’s a waiting game to until the decisions are mailed out.
do you remember how many questions they asked you? My interview is next week and I am quite nervous
@Andreya11 That's wonderful to hear, thanks for the positive update!
I have mine on Thursday. ? Good luck everyone!
Hi everyone!
I'm a student from the SU BSN cohort class of 2022, and I wanted to come in here and say congratulations to those who have been invited to the interviews! People will be notified of their acceptance mid March (I found out March 25th, 4pm). After you've been accepted I suggest taking a look at the Alfie Scholar program at Seattle University! I was accepted into the scholar program and it's been an amazing year so far. It's a program geared towards students who are interested in social issues, and you receive $15,000 per year over the 2 years you're at Seattle University. Here's is the link for those who are interested: https://www.alfiescholars.org/

I just had an interview too. It's a waiting game now. Good luck to us
Interviews are done after today! How is everyone feeling? I can't stop being excited and anxious to hear back. Seattle U is my first choice! Reading that about 150 applicants are interviewed and around 80 are selected, I believe we now have about a %50 chance to get accepted in SU.
* However, I counted how many interview spots didn't fill up days ago and it was about 16 slots. So, if there were about 134 interviews, we would have roughly a %60 chance! *

I wasn’t doing well at the interview. Did you ask the interview how much applicants are interviewed this year?
@Anhton I don't feel like mine went stellar, I was very nervous and chocked up once or twice. Feel discouraged about my performance, I reflected on the things that well in the interview and reminded my self that they are looking for reason to admit you, not deny you. I see you are a CNA! I feel that will give you a step up! Remember the things that got you here (:!
I didn't ask how many people they interviewed this year but I am really curious myself! Did anyone ask?

I see a lot of questions about how many people get accepted...My SU transfer cohort had around 80 students in it. When I interviewed I asked how many they interview and they said about 150 and they receive on average 500-600 applications. Not sure if any of this changed with COVID, but wanted to share what I know.
