I'm interested in applying to the APNI program at SU. I've been reading a lot of the forums from other years, and have found it's quite competitive! I would love to hear from other people, and their track. Or if someone is in the program and has any advice about what they like in an applicant. Thank you!

Hi All! I just got my interview invite for the APNI PMHNP today. Looks like the are sending a bunch today. Congratulations to everyone else who has been invited so far.

Received an interview invite for the DNP PMHNP via email. Will interview on the 23rd. So ecstatic. I got pretty bummed out reading the forum yesterday, but it just goes to show you that you never know what will happen. Congrats to all.

Anyone know if the program allows for phone/video interviews? The email says face-to-face in Seattle. Air, hotel, etc. will run me $700+. Concerned to shell out that amount of money for a 30 minute interview. And the answer could still be no. Ugh.

Previous posters from previous years said they did not need to do in-person interviews if you are out of state.

Not this year evidently. All interviews will be conducted in person per Chelsa.

In the email it should say if you can't make it because you're out of state to let them know so they can try and accommodate you. You can request a virtual interview

They only mention that if you can't meet either date offered then to contact them. They then offer another date. No specifics this year about out of state. They are looking to interview everyone "in person." Good luck to all.

Spoke to the dean they offer virtual interviews, at least for the cnm...

It could be different by specialty, but I'm interviewing virtually because I am out of state!

Anyone out-of-state for PMHNP making the trip for interviews? Any luck requesting a virtual interview?
