Hey everyone! I applied for Seattle's 2016 fall cohort but I am a transfer student and am not sure how good my chances are of getting in...Does anyone know how many transfer students are usually accepted every year? Or what the average GPA of transfer students is?
Also, what do I need to know about the interview?
I am a little bit nervous about getting in. We just found out a little bit ago that we are moving to Seattle so this was the only school that I could make the deadline for.

Hey, so I got my letter. Waitlist number 7 Obviously, I'm kind of disappointed but I can only hope that the other schools I've applied to will bring better news.
@watermelly that's so great that you got into PLU, I've heard great things about that school!!! Was it your first choice?
No... my first choice is SU (I really want to stay in Seattle!) and SPU as my second. SU's letters are being mailed this week though so hopefully we get good news soon.
Question for you: you said you were reading blogs about the waitlist; is it really difficult for waitlisted transfer students to get into SPU?

I spoke to Linda on the phone just now. It seems like they're a lot quicker about responding to waitlisted people if spots open up AS they open up. They'll communicate via phone, email, and letter to reach the candidates and let them know if a spot is available. May 1 is the deadline to accept so I expect people who are on the waitlist to be notified around then.
It all "varies" how many spots are available in the program. She said in years past it ranges anywhere between 1 and 20.
SU's letters are being sent this week.
I hope people don't wait until May 1 to decline their spots if they choose a different program :/
Thank you for the info @watermelly. Linda did email me and she said they usually reach out to the waitlisted after winter quarter grades post, spring quarter grades post and during the summer.
You guys I got into SU!! Got my letter today in the mail! I'm so happy.

Mail hasn't come yet... I'll let you know as soon as I know something! Hopefully today because I am tired of waiting. What did your letter come in? Just a regular envelope or something else? Also, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!
