Seattle Pacific University BSN 2016

Published

Hey everyone! I applied for Seattle's 2016 fall cohort but I am a transfer student and am not sure how good my chances are of getting in...Does anyone know how many transfer students are usually accepted every year? Or what the average GPA of transfer students is?

Also, what do I need to know about the interview?

I am a little bit nervous about getting in. We just found out a little bit ago that we are moving to Seattle so this was the only school that I could make the deadline for.

Anyways, any help is appreciated! Thanks!

No, I am a transfer student...

I would call, I live in Bellingham and I got mine Monday.

Ruby did you hear anything?

I didn't get in:( It will be fine though, I will have time to apply to other schools next year (I didn't know we were moving to Seattle until December so I missed all of the deadlines except this one). Congratulations to the rest of you though!!! That's so exciting!:)

Did anyone go to the transfer student open house last night?

Hey! I also got my letter to SU so I'm going to be starting school there. I am number 2 on the transfer waitlist. I'm going to take my name off SPU so the waitlist shrinks.

Hey, I know this is random, but there is a facebook page for the SU cohort. I read you said you were choosing SU, so you should join it! You too A Jaqueline, if you've chosen SU. And as a general statement, anyone on here that has chosen SU should join our facebook page. Here's the link:

Has anyone heard anything about waitlist movement?

@MonicaHoyer,

I haven't heard anything. You're on the transfer list right? I am on the SPU student list #3. This all my chance since SU and UW said no lol.

SPU is my #1 choice!

Oh yes I am a transfer student. What's your background in the medical field?

What number waitlist are you? I know from the Seattle U BSN thread that someone got accepted into SU and took their name off the waitlist for transfer students.

medical background, medical receptionist for 3years and phlebotomist for a bit. Nothing crazy:

you?

I am waitlist #3 for the transfer list, I'm hoping that those people that are going to other schools notify SPU this week. I have to accept a travel assignment for my job and the length of my contract depends on if I get into SPU. I am a surgical tech in the OR at st Joes in Bellingham. I've been at it for 4 years and have a few hundred hours of CNA experience.
