I will be applying to the August 2019 cohort at Seattle Children's. For anyone who has interviewed for this program, or gotten a job there, what are some tips you have for interviewing/getting the job? Any information would be greatly appreciated!!!

I have not heard and I’m not surprised. A LOT of people at the open house were practicum students or Seattle Children’s Employees. I have a feeling they only take a small handful of people outside that applicant pool.

Will we get an email saying we weren't selected for an interview or do you guys think we just won't get an email at all?

I think we just won't hear back. Or maybe we'll hear back in a few months once they've finished the entire process. That's been my experience.

At the April 22 open house they said the critical care shadow day would be May 30, and interviews May 31. I applied initially last November and did not hear anything at all for the March 2019 cohort - so no follow-up if you don't get an interview. I remember the program saying by email (and I think it's on the site too) that they try to notify their interview pool at least two weeks in advance of the interview. Best of luck to everyone!

I got an email with an invitation to interview at midnight last night. Not sure if I’m taking it because I am worried about the licensing timeline. Fingers crossed for everyone in this thread, and definitely keep us updated!

I also received an email last night and have already confirmed it! I applied for my license back in February and am just waiting for graduation and my school to send my transcript to get my ATT code for the NCLEX.

I got an email as well! Now we wait for the NCLEX! Nerve-wracking since it is mostly out of our control
