SDSU FALL 2021 BSN

Hey guys! I am creating this for Fall 2021 SDSU nursing applicants. We can make this a place where we can share our stats and answer any questions! My stats are:

Cumulative GPA: 4.0

Pre-reqs GPA: 4.0

TEAS: 82

I have work experience

I have 67 points, I'm kinda nervous, my TEAS isn't that good ?

They provided an official admission letter in the message center of my SDSU portal and said I was accepted for nursing. I was confused at first because it actually says accepted for “nursing premajor” and I thought it implies that I’d have to complete more prereqs. Turns out that SDSU is direct entry only, so even the freshmen that get admitted for “pre-nursing” are guaranteed a spot (whereas schools like csulb require you to reapply after completing prereqs)!

So does this mean everyone’s official acceptance letter says accepted for “nursing premajor” even if you have already completed all of the prerequisites?

That’s what it seems like on my end. If anyone else who got accepted can confirm/disconfirm this, it would be greatly appreciated! ?

Just out of curiousity for people who got admitted, when did you guys receive your admission acceptance? They either sent it all the same time or probably random :// I am just trying to have hopes, maybe for waitlist too HAHAHA

Mine just says "Pending" and "Admission Status Date: February 05, 2021". Does that mean I've been rejected?

I received mine yesterday at 11 am!!

I received mine at 11 a.m as well

@angel5678 Yes. They did. They also included the congratuations video with my name in it.
