Took a bit of time for my admission status to update but I just got accepted too! Completely took me by surprise because I thought I did the incorrect Chemistry requirement. Currently waiting for all the other CSU’s to send out their decision! I applied with:

Cumulative GPA: 4.0

Pre-reqs GPA: 4.0

TEAS: 92

Congrats!! Mine is still pending so I guess either waitlist or rejected :// but happy for you guys! Im still waiting on other cal states too!!

Hi guys!!

Does anyone know if the acceptances that were just released are for just the university or if it means acceptance to both the school and nursing program because I know for some schools you get two different acceptance notices.

They provided an official admission letter in the message center of my SDSU portal and said I was accepted for nursing. I was confused at first because it actually says accepted for “nursing premajor” and I thought it implies that I’d have to complete more prereqs. Turns out that SDSU is direct entry only, so even the freshmen that get admitted for “pre-nursing” are guaranteed a spot (whereas schools like csulb require you to reapply after completing prereqs)!

OMG guys, I just got in! I was super worried after I got rejected from Sonoma State but I made it !! ? SO relieved.

No problem! I have a 4.0 in science and overall, and I got a 92 on my TEAS! Other than that I have no work experience or anything like that ☺️
