2024 SCVMC New Grad/Clinical Nurse I

I wanted to start a thread for 2024. I've only seen from previous years. So we can all know how it is all progressing. 

 

I applied for all 3 Clinical Nurse I. 

 

So far I've received two emails one

04/9/24 Progressive Care: email said I was a finalist but no ranking. Supposedly this is better than receiving a rank. 

 

04/10/24 Critical Care: I actually received a rank and a score.

Anyone get an interview for ER or med/surg?

Even though I applied to the ER position I never got a ranking for it.

I did get an invite to PCU though.

July 9th at VMC. They'll only be taking walk-ins for people who didn't get an interview invite but did apply before the application closed.

I'm sort of confused hearing mixed things - It's OK to go to the interview fair on July 9th even if we didn't get an interview invite? I heard it's invite only so how does that work?

My rank is 110, score 88% and got an interview invite for PCU July 9. Anyone here going for July 9 interview? Did you get a confirmation if they receive the reference form? Thanks

Same I just got my ranking another high number 😭 pretty much a rejection at this point.

Based on previous job fairs, there is a specific time slot for walk-ins. I'm not 100% sure if that still applies this time but I heard from some of the unit management that they will be taking walk-ins this time during a specific hour. But it may not apply to all units hiring. It'll be hard to know for sure until the day of.
