I heard some preliminary offers went out yesterday, not sure if they sent out all of them.

Based on previous job fairs, there is a specific time slot for walk-ins. I'm not 100% sure if that still applies this time but I heard from some of the unit management that they will be taking walk-ins this time during a specific hour. But it may not apply to all units hiring. It'll be hard to know for sure until the day of.

July 9th at VMC. They'll only be taking walk-ins for people who didn't get an interview invite but did apply before the application closed.

I heard most of the ICU interview invites went out this week. But they usually take walk-ins at the job fair for people who submitted an application! Not 100% sure if it'll be the same this time around but if you applied and didn't get an interview invite, I would still try to walk-in that day.

I'm not sure how long it usually takes ☹️ the timeline varies for each cohort and the size varies too. But based on the job listing, it looks like the interview event will be held sometime in July so hopefully you guys hear back a few weeks before the interview date! Best of luck!

Nope, it was from HR. I believe she's the manager of PCU and I was hired on a different unit.

I got an offer letter via email at the beginning of this week!

Oh what! The shifts are variable? So we won't only be working the shift stated on our offer letter?

I got hired as extra help but I have RN experience. I'm actually an RN II elsewhere (with a little over a year of experience) but when I applied to VMC, they told me I didn't qualify for Clinical Nurse II there so I had to apply for the Unclassified - Clinical Nurse I training program . I believe they offered coded positions a few weeks ago for the Clinical Nurse II - Critical Care Training Program? They should have the same start date as us.
