2024 SCVMC New Grad/Clinical Nurse I

I wanted to start a thread for 2024. I've only seen from previous years. So we can all know how it is all progressing. 

 

I applied for all 3 Clinical Nurse I. 

 

So far I've received two emails one

04/9/24 Progressive Care: email said I was a finalist but no ranking. Supposedly this is better than receiving a rank. 

 

04/10/24 Critical Care: I actually received a rank and a score. 

Also haven't heard anything from them yet. Hoping to hear from them soon!

Hi guys! I randomly came across this page (I currently work at VMC) and just wanted to suggest that if you're a new grad and haven't applied for the new job listing 'Clinical Nurse I - Unclassified - Specialty Training Programs' posted on 5/27, I would do so!

you know how long it usually takes to hear back + how big the cohort usually is? I also applied for the 'Clinical Nurse I - Emergency Department' and for all 3 locations (SCVMC, O'Connor, St Louise)

Thank you!! Already did! Saw they do a hiring event fair that will take place in July I am really hoping for the best! 

Also, applied for the Clinical Nurse I - Emergency

I'm not sure how long it usually takes ☹️ the timeline varies for each cohort and the size varies too. But based on the job listing, it looks like the interview event will be held sometime in July so hopefully you guys hear back a few weeks before the interview date! Best of luck!

What exam? After being hired and completing the new grad orientation? 

 

Other than that there isn't an exam. The "exam" is questions they have about your experience and that's how you will get a score/rating. Hope this helps.

hi can someone explain the percentage & ranking list? Does it mean that the higher percentage and ranking number you are the more likely to get an interview/hired?
