  1. Thanks for the update so that way we're all not just wondering ? & That's awesome! Good luck on the 2nd one ??
  2. Not yet ? technically they said by the end of tomorrow .
  3. Just wondering if this is a good sign, "Did anyone else have another application received with a new req. #?”
  4. Hi Everyone ?? I saw a couple people got into the PCU unit. How is the work culture? I read it has a high turnover rate?
  5. Honestly not sure. For PCU they said they would reach out by the end of this week if you were to get a 2nd interview.
  6. FYI it seems like from this morning they are taking all walk ins with or wait hour an email invite, as long as you applied to the position. The next walk in time is from 3PM-4PM. I would get there earlier since they only allow limited walk ins. Good Luck!
  7. Even though I applied to the ER position I never got a ranking for it. I did get an invite to PCU though.
  8. Yeah at this point. Don't overthink it. Keep it moving and keep applying other places.
  9. FYI - this was their response when I asked about the hiring event in July? Thank you for your response and interest in career opportunities with the County of Santa Clara Health System. The Competitive Rating examination is used for the Clinical Nurses. What is a Competitive Rating Process? A competitive rating is an examination method where the application material is assigned points for education, certifications, and/or experience. The evaluation is strictly done using pre-determined criteria of education, certifications, and experience to rank the candidates prior to placing the candidates on the eligible list. The top 10-30 names as scored on the exam will be forwarded to the hiring manager for interview. More names may be sent if there is more than one vacancy. You may find more information regarding the County of Santa Clara recruitment process on our Job Search Took Kit and FAQ website: Job Search Tool Kit - Employee Services Agency - County of Santa Clara (sccgov.org)
  10. Honestly if you have those exact qualifiers from the questions they ask that's how your ranking moves up. Like exact tech/Pct experience, preceptorship, degree, work experience (even though it's an entry level job ?) My past rankings were in the high 200's without any RN experience.
  11. I feel like it's mixed, I've read posts that even in the 100's ranking you can still get called but that depends on the hiring manager. I know for sure if you're top 10 you'll def get a follow up email/ call ? anyone wants to share their ranking? I ranked 110/ 88% ...
  12. Has anyone received actual rejection emails?
  13. Were your friends internal applicants?
  14. Exactly! They'll prob hire only like 5 externally. im sure their internal are prob students who completed their preceptorship there or who worked there as a tech etc.
  15. Does anyone else think the status update email is basically a rejection email ? Since they have over 1100 applications and only 15 spots ?
