Alright, it's laundry time in my house and all of my scrubs are gathered together. I'm realizing that I have at least 4 butterfly scrub tops and barely any plain solid tops. I'm a bubbly person and love it when my scrubs bring a smile to a patient's face (I'm in psych, so that's not always easy) and I was just wondering about what everyone else wears. Sometimes when I'm down to the last pair of scrubs, I'll wear a set of hospital issued scrubs, but I think it can sometimes remind patients that I'm a person too, not just a medication dispenser with a set of questions to ask and notes to chart.
Any other birds of a feather out there?
I don't care how long your socks are...just as long as you are wearing them. That is a huge peeve of mine.
Had a coworker who would wear clogs and no socks. I think that's gross, but hey, who am I?
I like my scrubs fitted. I'm not trying to be a fashion plate, but I don't feel good wearing boxy scrubs. I think they look sloppy... or they look sloppy on me.
I like mine fitted too. I'm short so baggy scrubs make me look big.
I like the urbane scrubs the best. I will either do the all solid color or mix and match my bottoms with the trim on the tops. And I have to wear ankle socks. I have weird texture issues, and thick, long socks freak me out. And ewww on the clogs and no socks, thats just gross. I use to do alot of prints when I worked in peds.
I love my Koi pants. Tops I have about 30% of solids and the rest prints. Not super crazy prints, except a few I wear once and a while. I work with the elderly in a LTC facility and my little ladies love the prints I wear. They like the bright flower print tops I have. Everything is green and tan at my work and they are happy to see colors other than green and tan.
My favorite tops are the faux-wrap tops, which flatter my figure. All my pants are Rx gear straight leg unisex pants, which I like SO much better than the low-rise flare pants I see on a lot of women. All but two of my tops are prints...different flower patterns, but none too wild or brightly colored. I too work in LTC and my geriatric patients always compliment my scrubs!
Reading this, I think some of you would think I was the biggest unprofessional idiot on earth! :)
I wear print tops only. I work with disabled kids, and they love colorful things! I wear cartoon prints and animal prints...I have mickey mouse, skunks, deer, owls, Hello Kitty, giraffes. I have a few floral and geometric prints that I rarely wear. I cannot STAND to wear solid scrubs. I don't mind how they look on others, but when I worked at the hospital, I had to wear solid khaki scrubs and I was absolutely miserable. Felt like a big bag of potatoes.
As far as socks go, I wear ankle socks only, and all in crazy prints and patterns. Most of the girls I work with wear colorful socks, too. My facility tends to be pretty casual about those things.
Today I'm wearing a pink and purple top with happy little skunks, lavender pants, pink and black zebra print socks with a pair of silver leopard print Alegria mary janes. I swear I'm not a crazy person! :)

I have Urbane & Dickies, but wear hospital issued most of the time. I am not a print person, but I think they are great if you work peds. Socks....any kind just as long as you have some on! Oh, and my hospital issues are always strached & ironed! My pet peeve.... wrinkled scrubs or the kind with that big band thing around the ankle!
