SCRIPPS New Graduate Nurse Program August 2011

Hello, I wanted to start this thread for the Scripps Healthcare new graduate nurse position. The program was suppose to start August 12th 2011 from what I was told. Just wanted to start getting familiar with all of the people that applied and hopefully get some useful information going in this thread!:)

Yes, but I was talking to a friend today and she put it in perspective for me. 125 external applicants + 45 internal applicants = 170 divided by 40 or so spots = We have a 1 in 4 chance to get picked!!!!!!!!!!!! Just think positive! :monkeydance:

Yes, I am an internal candidate. I interviewed with Medical Acute (Green), Medical Acute (La Jolla) and PCU (La Jolla). I totally bombed the PCU interview

Awesome! I highly doubt you bombed it! I''m sure you did fantastic and will be getting some good news today! Today is a great day for that! My best friend took her boards Tues and found out today she passed! Woohoo, relief huh! Now I'm super nervous!!!

Good luck CMle86...with 3 interviews, I would say your chances are pretty good!!!!

I actually don't take them until July 7th. I'm using Kaplan but these Qbank questions are killing me...I find ATI easier....we did the trick with my friend and yes, it was a correct predictor

Where are you getting these numbers? There were closer to 1000 applicants.

There were over 1000 applicants but I think they mean that they only chose 125 of those to interview as external applicants.

Sorry...yes, I meant that out of the close to 1000 applicants, they interviewed about 125 external applicants.

I interviewed on Monday as well and am waiting anxiously for any news. I haven't heard if anyone internal has received any offers yet. I know a few people at Scripps and all has been quiet.
