Scripps New Grad Spring 2021

I wanted to start a thread to see if anyone else logged on this morning to apply for Scripps' New Grad Program, but did not see if it was posted? It's nearly 8 AM and I'm already concerned that there were too many applicants! This would be to apply to start January 4 or March 15!

The position was posted at midnight on the Scripps Taleo career section but they linked somewhere else on the new grad info page. So I was up refreshing at midnight on the page they had linked, only to realize around 1 AM that they had posted it somewhere else.

Did anyone get the automated on-demand email? Their website says if you didn't get it immediately upon submission you probably didn't make the cut...

I finally saw the posting around 8 am...the email sent to me didn't invite me to do the on-demand video ? . I read that on the website too.

I unfortunately did not realize until 10AM that they had opened applications and submitted my application at 12:30/1 PM. I wonder how people get the on demand interview??

Are they still taking applications? I don't see anything posted..

@awkwardavocado I believe it was only open 9/14-9/16 for external applicants. Their next applications will be in February.

So if you didn't get the on demand video request then you're automatically out of consideration? Is that right?

Has anyone heard back after submitting your on-demand interview? Checked my status on the careers page and it says “job closed”. Was wondering if it was the same for everyone at the moment?

I just checked my status and mine also says job closed. Which I interpret as not being selected, but who knows? I do know they started sending out emails for interviews and I haven't received notification that my application was under review anymore.

I know some people have received letters that their application was being forwarded to the hiring managers. I did not receive that letter. Not losing hope yet, because it's still early! But I think there was a massive number of applicants for this period. If you were working as a SNE on a unit and got a letter of recommendation from your manager, you're probably in good shape. I was working as a SNE, but not at a hospital on a specific unit (I have been working at two different clinics since July).

I am working as an SNE too but I didn't think to ask my manager to write me a letter of rec..hmm well hopefully like you said its still early and not to lose hope yet!
