Hello all. I’m guessing that since I didn’t get any information from Cedars about a connectivity test that I wasn’t chosen for an interview. I did end up calling them last week and they said to just wait and that they were still making decisions etc. Anyway I’m going to move on and keep applying everywhere. Thank you all for your encouraging advise earlier in this thread. I truly appreciate it. Best of luck to everyone.

Thank you for replying and for your encouragement. Since so many in this thread have said that they have received emails for interviews already I just figured that since I haven't received one yet I probably wasn't chosen. I'm really not sure who I would be able to call since so much of this in done online in the beginning. I've been a nurse since March 2020 and have worked in a psych hospital as well as a SNF. I have my BSN as well. I'm guessing that since I don't have experience working in an acute care setting might be why I'm having difficulty getting in, but honestly I'm not sure. I think that things are just really competitive, but I'm not sure. I guess I'll see if I can figure out who to contact to find out information. At least some constructive criticism on how to improve my chances or to find a place where I can learn best.

I've applied to every new grad opportunity down here in San Diego and although I knew that this one was a long shot at best, but I was hopeful that this one would work out. Does anyone have any advise for a nurse that is looking for a place to support me as I learn to be an amazing nurse? I know I can do this I just need a good place to start. ?

Mine still says under consideration. It's been the same since the 14th. I think I choose a medical floor 7SE/7SW for my first choice and 6SCCT Cardiac Surgical ICU for my second choice. I've also been working as a nurse since the second week of March 2020, but haven't working in any acute care settings besides a locked psych hospital.

Hello all. I am getting my documents ready to apply for the cohort that starts in 2021 and I was curious when the application opens how soon did you apply? I just want to make sure I get my application in on time to be considered.

Did anyone apply for the new grad position at Coronado? I got the email to self identify but that was it. I’m starting to loose hope. I hit my year of experience in March.

So if you didn't get the on demand video request then you're automatically out of consideration? Is that right?
