  1. The position was posted at midnight on the Scripps Taleo career section but they linked somewhere else on the new grad info page. So I was up refreshing at midnight on the page they had linked, only to realize around 1 AM that they had posted it somewhere else. Did anyone get the automated on-demand email? Their website says if you didn't get it immediately upon submission you probably didn't make the cut...
  2. @Katrn, I have an interview with OSUWMC and was looking for some advice for anyone who has recently gotten hired! Do you mind if I DM you?
  3. Reposting from another thread on here... I'm going to be graduating this May, and applying to a lot of new grad programs both in-state and out-of-state. I know it shouldn't be my primary concern but I'm a little apprehensive at the thought of potentially moving away from all my friends and family. Are new grad residency programs pretty conducive to making friends and meeting people? Do cohorts generally get pretty close, like they do in nursing school, or are people more focused on work and less open to hanging out?
  4. Long Beach Memorial funds the trimester program. CSULB (I believe) funds the semester program. Either way you still pay tuition.
  5. I haven't heard back from the school. I figure if we're all in the same boat it's probably okay. @Messiejartin yeah I would try to call her. Good luck!
  6. Did you actually receive a waitlist email from the nursing school or did you just wait/call in to hear that you were waitlisted? I think what happened was people who got an email saying they were waitlisted are ACTUALLY waitlisted, while everyone else who just never heard back (or called in and were told they were waitlisted) was actually accepted, but just waiting to be let in based on available funding.
  7. I'm in!!! Check your emails guys! Crossing my fingers for the rest of you :)
  8. Yeah her response was a little annoyed so I wouldn't. She said we will probably know by the end of the month. Still they can't blame us for wanting to know when the date has come and gone and others have gotten emails.
  9. Finally called in to the SON after waiting a week since everyone else heard back. She told me I'm waitlisted. Really annoying that I had to call them to find this out after waiting anxiously for a week. They seem extremely disorganized.
  10. I'm post bacc as well. Probably this has something to do with it
  11. Is there anyone else here who still hasn't heard back? Checking my email like every 3 minutes. I really thought I'd hear back yesterday since others heard back Thursday/Friday....
  12. If it's true that the top 30 were admitted then I'm not feeling very confident with my 9.51 since people with 9.4-9.6 got waitlisted. The cutoff seems INSANELY high this year, unless they are just scoring the comm exercise differently or something. I really wish they weren't sending out emails in batches like this. I was looking at past years and everyone got the email around the same time.
  13. Edited because oops double post
  14. I thought it wasn't bad at all! Good luck to the people who are still have their exercises.
  15. I had a 9.57!
