  1. No problem, update me on how it goes/if you get an offer. Best of luck, and just remember like I said, they’re interested, hard parts over— now just sell them on yourself ?
  2. Hey!! Congrats on the interview! tips I’d give are know how to answer behavioral questions in the STARE format (situation, task, action, result, evaluation). Or a format similar to that, it makes your answers well organized. I’d definitly have a solid list of experiences from clinical and work to pull from for both positive and negative experiences, and if negative, be able to answer how it was learning experience and how it made you better and what you differently now as a result. I had a few NCLEX style questions: they gave me a list of patients and asked which I’d prioritize and why, as well as a few delegation questions. Don’t freak out, if you’ve been studying for NCLEX (like I’d imagine you have been) you’ll be fine LOL. Have some questions to ask them as well, and be personable, they’re interested or they wouldn’t have given you an interview, not it’s just time to sell them in yourself. Good luck!!
  3. Right? “Yea I’m actually coming from Lebanon” ?
  4. Yea- I think it depends on how far away you are. I’m from Illinois, so I’d imagine the farther you are, the more you qualify for
  5. They told me I qualified for a couple grand of relocation aide, I have a couple more questions I think I’d want to ask, but from what I’ve read in the Mayo forums, it sounds like a pretty sweet add on an benefit
  6. For sure for sure. The starting pay, benefits, and relocation aid is very beneficial, and the new grad program here I’ve heard is top notch. Which is mainly why I’m accepting it, but it’s culture seems super supportive and fun, and it also helps it’s the #1 hospital in the country ?.
  7. Graduate may 8th and start July 20th!
  8. Aayyyy just got a call with an official job offer for the Neuro/Neurosurgery ICU spot. I am most likely going to accept it! Let’s gooo fellas, I’m super hyped
  9. Hell yea, congrats homie! I just interviewed yesterday and felt pretty good about it. What unit did you get an offer from and how long until you heard back from them after you interviewed??
  10. Hey everyone, I was just creating this thread to see if anyone has applied to or been accepted to a position at Mayo Clinic in Rochester?! I haven't seen a thread for Rochester specifically so I wanted to make one for those who may or already have been hired in order to network!
  11. That’s amazing, congrats! When did you apply and what specialties did you apply too?!
  12. Hey! Ill be graduating in may and also applied to a few positions in duke’s residency program. Im glad someone made a forum page, I’m hoping to hear back from them soon.
