Its that wonderful time again. Thought I would start this thread for any news from Scripps New Grad Program. Hopefully we hear good things back soon! Good luck to everyone!

So you don't think it will close after 500 applicants?

It's open for 3 days, so they can receive as many applications in that period

Yeah I saw that. I had it on my calendar for April 21 also. Now online it says 2015 :( I'm so bummed!!

Oh really? That is not good. There is already not enough programs for all the graduates and now they cancel that! ??

I know!! It is such a bummer! ? Does anyone know the time frame of when Scripps starts to contact for interviews/rejections?

I think they are quick. Last time it took them about 2 weeks.

hey all!! This is my first time applying with Scripps--application was neverending. Does anyone know how they decide if you will be a june or august start (if you're lucky enough to get the offer :))?? I'm from new york and just wondering how far in advance they schedule the interviews--last minute flights to cali can get expensive!! thankss and GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!!

Unfortunately they do only look at the first 500 qualified applicants, even though the posting is open for 3 days. It may be even less since they are taking so few people this time around. You would think they'd just shut it down after 500, but I'm assuming maybe there's some sort of policy that requires the posting to be open for a certain amount of time.

I was told by about noon on the first day is when they hit 500. With so many applicants though, I wouldn't be surprised if they hit the 500 mark earlier than that.

They have already started sending out interview emails. The interviews are April 9-11. Good luck everyone!
