Hello! I would really like to hear about your experience at USD if you happen to see this message!

I applied to the USD MSN FNP program for fall of 2016, and I really want to know a few things: 1. If anyone has gone through the program, how was it and do you think you were well prepared? 2. Any feedback on how doable the part time program is while working full time? 3. Whether you felt the quality of the education was worth the cost? 4. Whether you are happy as an FNP and if it was easy finding a job after graduation? 5. Any other "insider" information about the program - because I cannot find any information about the program from someone who has experienced it for themselves. I would appreciate feedback so much and THANK YOU!

So maybe 4 positions out of 40 interviews? Ugh way worse odds haha! They said they'd notify us of decisions in a couple weeks so I guess we will find out!

Just yesterday - I was just wondering how everyone felt about it. They said the program starts sept 8.

What did you guys think of the interviews for ED? 4 spots and 20 interviewed isn't too bad.

I am licensed! Took my NCLEX in march!

I actually did my fingerprinting today and that's what they told me when I asked...that we will find out on Monday. :S

Quick question - does anyone know whether they are being hired for full time or part time? I was under the impression that it was full time and now I'm not so sure because no where on my paperwork did it specify full time and when I asked, the lady said we would meet our managers on Monday and that's when they would tell us that.

Honestly, I took it because of the ED position. Definitely a big culture shock! I guess I'll see you at orientation then!

Where will you be coming from? I am from San Diego... :S

Just wondering - who is going to orientation on July 28? And if you're going - what have you figured out for housing arrangements?! I'm panicking a little!

OH geez, I hope it's not eight hour days! I was offered a position in the ED and I am a new grad. Does anyone know if July 28 is the only orientation date?
