Its that wonderful time again. Thought I would start this thread for any news from Scripps New Grad Program. Hopefully we hear good things back soon! Good luck to everyone!

I just received an email about doing the talentmine simulation is that what you received?

I just recd the email confirmation. I already did the talentmine last years so I don't have to do it now.

Just finished my application. I didn't know they only look at the first 200-300 applications? Is that true? I hope not!!

I heard they only look at the first 500. How much that is true I'm not sure.

Oh man... I hope I made it into the 500 cut off! I can't believe they are only taking 6 new grads.. :(

Same here! :/ Did you put down a specific unit on your application? Does that mean 6 new grads for each department?

I took it as they are taking a total of 6 new grads in June and 6 in August... I could be wrong though. That is what it said on the job posting. Blahh!

It says due to the high volume they will close the application in about 3 days. I doubt they will only look at 500 applicants, if this were the case they would close it at 500..... :/

Wow I wonder how many internal and external candidates will be chosen if they only want 6...

Whoa. They removed the system-wide program for this year? I had it down for April 21 open, but I guess they don't have the census for new grads. So, just La Jolla this year?
