Hi!

Just wanted to start a thread for the S&W applicants for June 2011. Let's all keep each other posted and encouraged as we go through this nervewracking process!

If you could state where you are from and what your 3 choices were, that would be great. I'll go first!:lol2:

I'm from NJ and my top 3 choices (in order of preference) are: ICU, STC-2 (Adult Observation) and ER.

Lovely, I had my interview on a Friday and received the call from HR with the official offer on a Tuesday and they e-mailed me the new hire packet later that day. Apparently the offer I was given the day of my interview was "unofficial" (oops lol).... Anyway I'm sure HR is just swamped right now, but it couldn't hurt to call just to see what's going on. And again CONGRATS

Yess I got it but I guess I can't reply yet since I just made an account. But anyway YAYY I am so excited!! Just a little over a month until we start!

I have my pre-employment physical and all that in a few weeks and hopefully I can get my apartment situation figured out while I am there yikes. Does anyone know how most people find roommates when they start an internship like this and will know no one..or do most people just settle for higher rent and get a one bedroom initially??

Maroon, yeah..I called and left a message last night so hopefully, they'll call and send everything today. Maybe it has to do with the fact that I'm starting 2 weeks later? Not sure but I hope someone calls soon because I heard they give relocation reimbursement and it would be good to know how much I'm getting so I can figure out how I'm getting my stuff down there. Plus, if I have to go back down for the physical and everything, I need to schedule time for that too!

PICUnewgrad, I think ppl usually settle for 1brs even though I would have considered a roommate. They have some really nice 2brs! Lol! But, I lucked out and found a nice 1br. Good luck!

Just spoke with HR. The director of ICU just sent our information down today so it should be about a day or two before we get anything, us in the last bunch of hirees. He said if I didn't hear anything by midweek next week, to call again. He also mentioned they have other departments to contact, which may be why you haven't heard anything yet either, redraider!

Got the official call from HR about an hour ago! So excited! I do have to come back down to do the pre-employment physical and turn in the paperwork but that's oki'll be able to sign my lease then and get to see my apartment! Lol! I will start June 20th due to me graduating later. I'm so glad they were accomodating! :)

Oh i'm jealous you are so close, that shouldn't be too hard of a move! No not from Lubbock, just came here for college. I am originally from California..but I am a oil kid so I have moved around all my life for my father's job, so i'm really not "from" anywhere haha. In fact, my parents live overseas right now.
