Scott & White Internship -- June 2011

Published

Hi!

Just wanted to start a thread for the S&W applicants for June 2011. Let's all keep each other posted and encouraged as we go through this nervewracking process!

If you could state where you are from and what your 3 choices were, that would be great. I'll go first!:lol2:

I'm from NJ and my top 3 choices (in order of preference) are: ICU, STC-2 (Adult Observation) and ER.

Good luck to all of us!:yeah:

Congratulations, best of luck on your new career

Thank you!

Congrats lovely!! Sorry, I haven't been on here for a while, but that's really exciting and I will see you in June. As far as places go, I didn't look at apartments because of my dogs so I don't really have any advice on those unfortunately...However, it only took me a day to find a place, so hopefully the rest of you won't have too much trouble!! Anyway congrats to everyone and I am sooooooo excited to start and meet all of you :-)

Did anyone specifically get the ER internship? I would like to know how their experience was through the applying and interviewing process. I will be applying in October and would like to know any pointers. Congrats on all of you!! VERY exciting.

Congratulations to everyone who got accepted!!! I will be graduating in December and am interested in this program, any advice will be greatly appreciated. I'm new to this website too.

@SweetieP, lets exchange contact info so we can keep in touch. I graduate in Dec as well, so we can go through the process together. When you get to 15 posts you can direct message me. :)

@Prettyladie, that is an awesome idea! Now I just need to go around and start posting away :D

Has anyone received anything from HR yet?

Nope, was told I would hear from HR at some point.

Oh ok. Just making sure!

So, I secured a 1br apartment -- sight unseen! But, it was actually recommended by another apartment complex and I've read some great reviews about it. So, here's hoping for the best! But, I think I'm lucky because a lot of these places have like NOTHING! And the ones that do..the people are trying to get out!

It's so hard when you're trying to do it out of town but I'm gald that part is over. Now, trying to figure out how I'm going to get all my stuff down there..

Yeah, im gonna head down friday and get my bearings on the area.

Cool. Good luck!

Redraider, I'm going to call HR tonight because I've heard that most of the ICU people got information from HR about 2-3 days after the interview..including weekends! I haven't received anything and it's been 3 days (not including weekends). With so much to do, I want to get everything in order...including the offer!

So, you may just want to give them a little call. I'll let you know what they tell me.
