5 63%, 6-70%, 7 - 69% - passed with 75 qs :nurse:

Kaplan question trainer #5 = 55%, #6 = 50, #7 = 52%...the analysis read that I am below passing on every subject except Patient care and comfort.

Needless to say I did not pass the nclex on my first try and my results for the nclex read that I didn't pass on all the categories except patient care and comfort. I was dumbfounded when I read my results and surprised on the accuracy or the coincedence of the results.

I quickly got my $400 back from Kaplan and studied on my own with saunders. I also was surprised that eventhough I got my money back from kaplan, kaplan stil allowed me to use the online program, so I went ahead and redid the question trainers after 2months of studying.

My results on kaplan after studying saunders were, kaplan question trainer #5 = 72%, #6 = 75%, #7 = 73%....needless to say I passed the nclex on my second attempt with 257 questions and time running out.

i never had above 70% in kaplan trainer usually I got 58%- 69% hehe:D but I passed my nclex. dont worry just try to understand the rationale to ever questions and pray harder.:)

i made a 58% on T7, passed after taking this review, 3rd time with 78-80 questions

This past week I was getting like 68-72 on the q banks but my last trainers were 5...54%, 6...56%...7...58%. I have been studying pretty much non stop for the past two weeks. I read the rationales for the wrong ones. Its extremely frustrating!! I also test this Fri, May 30th. ACKKK!!! :banghead::banghead::banghead:

I scored a 59% on QT #7. I passed the NCLEX with 75 Q's. All this, after graduating 8 yrs. ago, and failing the NCLEX once in 2000. Best of luck!!

hi, dont get frustrated! it will only lower your self esteem and confidence. With that, you may even think subconsciously that you will not pass. It will be a burden to you. Just relax and think positive. you see, you learn from your mistakes:grad: dont think about the scores. good luck to you and godbless:wink2::dncgcpd:

Specializes in rookie.

hey, my QT#7 was like 62% (dats what i can remember?!). You know what don't be so bugged about not getting too high on kaplan cause they have HARD questions, and if you try to compare answering other practice questions (saunders, prentice, lippin.etc) i bet you'd get higher scores. But the main thing is, take your time in answering the questions, understand what it's asking (apply the decision tree), the nclex is quality and not quantity. Pray always and don't think negative, its good to be optimistic!!!

Q123-50+..Q4-61 Q5-60 Q6-63 Q7-58 ... my Qbank was just 50-60's.. at first i thot kaplan was really really useless bcoz it was only for a week.and only strategies.but it really helped.the strategies..ang learned how to answer question.. but i did not get to use if as much as i wanted to on the actual test bcoz some were objective type..the questions were easy but the answer is very hard to find..but i passed the nclex on my first try..163 questions.i thot i failed.. bcoz i was not really doing good on kaplan.diagnostic got "40%" can you bliv that.40%! lol.. and others got like 50's.i did not tell anyone of my score.and the readiness.i got 57.. same w/ some of my klsm8s in kaplan. but even those who got higher scores than me failed.. maybe bcoz they took it after 1 month of studying and was not prepared.well, as for me.i waited 3 months b4 i took my exam last may3.. all i can say is.take ur time..dont rush.. be ready for it. and read saunders.. make a study time schedule.. what i did was. monday- endocrine.. tuesday- G.I wed- pedi.. etc. like that.and i answered the back part of each chapter. finished the kaplan book. saunders.and Q&A questions in kaplan q bank..question trainer and CD of saunders composed of 5000+ Questions but only got to answered 3000 of it..I'm sharing this bcoz this site really helped me a lot.. b4 my exam.. know your infection control..what to wear w/ hepa B pt.. man.that a very easy question if you get to think of it.but the answer was hard to find. meds. w/c pt. to see first.. rooming in.etc.. wish you all luck :)

6-67% 7-60% readiness 65%. I don't get 70+ on QBANK. But i'll have my exam on the 28th. KAPLAN's questions are harder. I agree with what the others said. Let's be optimistic. we can do this!! GOODLUCK!! :D:D

NCLEX is unpredictable and it has gone both ways for people with predictor tests, so don't get all caught up with them. Instead, focus on learning the material.
