Curious what fundraisers your school has done that have been successful. I am not a fan, personally, but need to come up with some ideas and curious what ones have worked well. I should suggest charging each time a student comes down for something ridiculous ? I'd make a lot!

But, anyway, since I work at a very poor inner city school, we rarely do fundraisers. But we did sell Butter Braids and cookie dough in the fall and it went OK. They are really good if you never had them!!!
Oh, my daughter's gymnastics team sold butter braids as a fundraiser around Thanksgiving time...they went over very well!

Some other ideas are local restaurant nights, penny wars, spirit wear, Art-to Remember, school dance, pay $1 to wear a hat or pjs to school, candy bars (if allowed in your district) or any number of catalogues that sell stuff.
ERMAGERD @scuba nurse! I am PTA pres too! For three more months. And we just found out we have to REVIEW the BYLAWS by August....
Our school (my son is in elementary school) participates in a thing where the kids’ artwork is put onto souvenirs (mugs, notebooks, etc) and parents can buy stuff with their child’s art on it. It must be successful because they do it every year. As a parent, I can’t resist stuff that has my snowflake’s art on it, haha.

Our school does the typical fundraiser type sale of overpriced junk. Our PTO has a carnival, haystack dinner & silent auction.
The previous nurse did a 5K walk/run for our health committee funds. I did that my first year, it was a total flop. Didn't do it again. If you have a SkyZone near you they have fundraisers. That will probably be our next one.
