I graduated on May 12th and it's been a LONG wait for the state to finally issue authorization to test with Pearson. July 7th at 8 AM is the big day.
Our nursing program gave each graduating nurse a scholarship "gift" of the Kaplan 4-day NCLEX prep. I've been doing practice Q-Bank questions nearly every day. So far, I'm doing pretty well on the trainers & Q-Banks. I simply cannot wait to get this over & done with. I have a job lined up and I cannot start until I pass the NCLEX, per their policy.
Anyone else taking their exam next week?
i see that alot of you are doing kaplan q bank questions, and i was just wondering what were you all scoring on it? I wanted to see if i am scoring around the same thing, I want to be sure that I am ready to take the boards im scoring around the 60-70% range. Also how many questions a day are you all doing?
My Kaplan instructor said if you're scoring 60 or higher consistently on trainers & Qbank, you are highly likely to pass. She also said to remediate ALL questions, too.
All of my classmates who've already taken the NCLEX said they felt Kaplan was harder than NCLEX.
I'm taking the advice of my Kaplan instructor. She told me to do my Qbank & trainer tests to prep, however, on the day before the exam, she said not to review anything at all. We'll see if it works. That means I only have tomorrow & Sunday left to prep. I don't know how I'm going to go through Monday without reviewing anything, but I'm going to take her advice and try not to review.
Alright guys! Tomorrow is the day! We will pass!!!!I don't know you but I LOVE YOU AND BELIEVE IN YOU!
Yep, we got this! :) And no matter what happens for me tomorrow, I'm going to keep checking in on this thread and cheer on the rest of you throughout this week. You graduated nursing school - you can do this too!
