Hello all,
I took the HURST review but I also wanted a comprehensive review book with questions and needed some advice...is the Saunders Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX-RN examination 3rd edition too old? I don't currently have the funds to purchase the new book and the public library only had the 3rd edition, however, it does contain the CD.
Thanks for any advice,

I am using Saunders 3rd edition and I think its good as long as its revised.... which means it has the illustrations in it.
However, a friend of mine took the Hurst review and thats all she did... I think you should be fine, I heard Hurst was great!
Thanks RN2Be143

Actually the books are the same. I had 3rd & 4th editions, and after comparing them to see that how they were different I gave the 3rd edition away. I believe the 4th edition is in color. I do believe the questions were the same word for word.

A few revisions here and there, I compared both books and it's the same even in some of the CD questions. :) Good lucK!!
Great thank you Passion4people and +one.... I was actually gifted with the 4th edition on Wednesday evening and started using it yesterday...didn't even think of comparing them .... LOL

Better than nothing, and I think you can be successful. Remember, it is the concepts you need to learn. The concepts do not change from edition to edition. Good luck.
